Dr. Hay will discuss how understanding the context, timing, and variation in health decisions may inform the development of highly nuanced, precision prevention strategies across diverse populations. She will present examples from her ongoing research program in melanoma prevention examining real-time assessments of decisions about sun protection in individuals at high risk of melanoma, and patterns of interest in genetic testing for common variation in melanoma risk in the general population.
