The Washington University Prison Education Project (PEP) will discuss Daniel Karpowitz's book, "College in Prison: Reading in an Age of Mass Incarceration".  The discussion will be led by Jennifer Hudson, Lecturer in Political Therory, PEP Program Manager and University College academic advisor.

About the Author: Daniel Karpowitz is the director of policy and academics for the Bard Prison Initiative (BPI) and lecturer in law and the humanities at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York.  He is the cofounder of the Consotium for the Liberal Arts in Prison, an organization that launches and cultivates college-in-prison programs across the country.
