Dr. Janine Bijsterbosch, Ph.D., is a Postodoctoral Researcher in the FMRIB Analysis Group in the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Oxford.  Her research focuses on brain connectivity and connectomics, Big Data, and Biomarkers.  She is interested in the following topics:  1.) Analysis methodology for connectivity, connectomics, and big data.  2.) Use of Big Data in Clinical Neuroscience to work towards personalized medicine.  3.) Multimodal research into the neural circuitry underlying connnectivity as measured with MRI.  In her current research, she primarily uses data from the Human Connectome Project and UK Biobank.  She is adopting and developing cutting edge analysis techniques in order to improve connectivity measures, and map the relationship between brain connectivity markers and lifestyle, health, and risk factors for disease.
