“Mouse Genomics Informatics Workshop”


This practical workshop is designed to include short introductory sections to MGI features and tools, as well as hands-on, practical experience working through biologically relevant exercises. The focus of this workshop will be on the web interface, no programming knowledge or prior experience is required. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own research-specific questions. This workshop aims to cover:

  • How to locate and interpret phenotypic or other biological data
  • Finding Cre alleles and expression information for a gene
  • Finding mouse models for human diseases
  • Working with batch data
  • Using MGI to prioritize or add biology to a gene list.

This workshop is free, but you must register in advance.
