The Ben Senturia Lectureship, established in 1977, is hosted by the Department of Otolaryngology.

Michael Hoa, MD, is an associate professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at Georgetown University School of Medicine. In addition to his duties as a neurotologist, Hoa is a clinician-scientist in the intramural research program at the National Institute for Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD) at the NIH with interest in hearing restoration through regeneration of inner ear cell types including hair cells.
