Hosted by the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR)
Bio: Dr Anazodo completed her doctoral training in Medical Biophysics at Western University and was a MITACS Accelerate Fellow at The Lawson Health Research Institute in London, Ontario, Canada. She is the William Dawson Scholar and Assistant Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Montreal Neurological Insitute (MNI) at McGill University. She is the director of the Multimodal Imaging of Neurodegenerative Disease (MiND) Lab at The MNI, where her group develops PET and MRI techniques for quantitative neuroimaging. She is the Chair of the ISMRM PET/MRI Study Group and is very passionate about improving access to diagnostic imaging with a focus on population and global health. She is the founder and Chair of the Consortium for Advancement of MRI Education and Research in Africa (CAMERA), a global network of MRI experts working to establish sustainable access to high-value MRI in Africa through local capacity building. She also established the Medical Artificial intelligence (MAI) Lab at Crestview Radiology Ltd in Lagos, Nigeria, Africa’s first AI lab dedicated to training, development and implementation of AI applications in medical imaging.
