“The Future of Neuroimaging”

We invite WU neuroimaging community members to attend and present their work at the Inaugural WU Neuroimaging Community Retreat on Friday April 17th, 2020 at the Missouri Botanical Garden, generously sponsored by the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology and the McDonnell Center for Systems Neuroscience.

We hope to foster scientific and social interactions across the diverse array of neuroimaging research occurring within the Washington University community. The theme of this year’s retreat is the “Future of Neuroimaging”. Keynote speakers are Dr. Anissa Abi-Dargham (Stony Brook University) and Dr. Marcus E. Raichle (WashU Radiology). There will also be a panel discussion, flash talks by post-docs and students, a lunchtime trivia contest and a poster session. The retreat events begin at 8am with breakfast and end at 5:30pm following a poster session and reception.

Every attendee must register!

Students, Post Docs, Staff and Faculty:

You are invited to submit an abstract to be considered for a short “flash” talk (5 min; students and postdocs only) or a poster. A review committee will select 5 flash talks and up to 40 posters considering multiple criteria including scientific merit, approach, and type of neuroimaging research.

Student and post doc presenters will be eligible for the Marcus E. Raichle Award. Two winners will be selected (one from the flash talks and one from the posters) and each will receive $250. To be eligible, the work must have been completed at least in part at Washington University, and the presenter must be the primary person responsible for the research results.

NOTE Registration and Abstract submission are separate forms, every attendee must register!
