“Using multimodal functional neuroimaging to understand visually guided behavior”

Hosted by the NeuroImaging Laboratories (NIL)

Brief bio:  Dr. Wardle’s research focuses on understanding how the human brain processes complex visual information. Her research interests encompass broad aspects of human cognition including object recognition, face detection, and the intersection of visual perception with other cognitive domains such as memory, expertise and social interaction. She applies a multifaceted experimental approach to these questions including task-based functional neuroimaging (fMRI and MEG) in combination with behavioral studies and computational methods based on machine learning.
