This year’s finalists are:
- Oshri Avraham, postdoctoral researcher in the lab of Dr. Valeria Cavalli
- Tamara Markovic, graduate student in the lab of Dr. Jose Moron-Concepcion
- Deng Pan, graduate student in the lab of Drs. Susan Mackinnon and Matthew Wood
- Ryan Raut, graduate student in the lab of Dr. Marcus Raichle
- Zachary Rosenthal, graduate student in the lab of Dr. Jin-Moo Lee
- Weikang Shi, graduate student in the lab of Dr. Camillo Padoa-Schioppa
- Kalyan Tripathy, graduate student in the lab of Dr. Joseph Culver
- Fang Wang, postdoctoral researcher in the lab of Dr. Brian Kim
- Michelle Wegscheid, graduate student in the lab of Dr. David Gutmann
- Monica Xiong, graduate student in the lab of Dr. David Holtzman
Each finalist will give a 10 minute presentation, and the winner will receive a $1000 prize.

This year’s guest judge for the Annual James L. O’Leary Prize for Research in Neuroscience is Paul Kotzbauer (WashU Neurology), one of the 1996 winners.
