Clinical Research in Early Psychosis – the EPINET Consortium

Today is the Department of Psychiatry’s Research Day, a morning in which Grand Rounds is followed by research presentations by trainees in the department. Dost Öngür, MD, PhD, the William P. and Henry B. Test Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, will be presenting the Resident Invitational Lecture. The title of his talk is Clinical Research in Early Psychosis – the EPINET Consortium.

From 10:30-11:30 AM, there will be talks by three graduating residents participating in our Psychiatry Residency Research Education Program (PRREP):

1.      Dr. Josh Spiegel: “Psychedelics, psychoplastogens.”

2.       Dr. Subha Subramanian: “Physiological stress and cytokine changes in older adults undergoing mindfulness or exercise.”

3.       Dr. Kevin Xu: “Using big data to optimize treatment for opioid use disorder in pregnancy.”

NOTE: Both Grand Rounds and the trainees’ presentations are via Zoom. In addition, there will be an in-person poster session from 11:40 am-12:30 pm in EPNEC Great Rooms A&B.
