“Careers in Academic Research: a Panel Discussion of Women in Imaging Science”

Are you interested in pursuing an academic research career in STEM? Please join us Friday, May 28th at 11 am for a panel discussion on academic faculty careers highlighting the experiences of women conducting imaging focused research at WashU.
Event Description: In this Q&A-style panel discussion with female research professors who run imaging-focused laboratories at WashU, we’ll learn about their experiences successfully navigating a path of career advancement in academic STEM. The conversation will focus on recommendations for graduate students and postdocs who are interested in continuing in academia especially through tenure-track research faculty positions. This event will provide a supportive space for trainees to ask questions and discuss the necessary steps and challenges especially for women pursuing STEM-based academic research careers.
