On behalf of the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology and the TIRS T32 program, Drs. Vijay Sharma, Tammie Benzinger, and Will Tu are pleased to invite you to an in-person symposium and retreat on Friday, August 4th in Scarpellino Auditorium from 8:30am -11:30am.

The program will include lectures and a panel discussion moderated by Drs. Benzinger and John C. Morris.

  • Richard Perrin, MD, PhD (WashU Pathology & Immunology), “What are the pathologies associated with Alzheimer disease (AD) and related dementias (ADRD)?”
  • Vijay Sharma, PhD (WashU Radiology) “Current and future PET radiotracers for AD and ADRD.”
  • Berislav Zlokovic, MD, PhD (University of Southern California) “Blood-brain barrier dysfunction and its effects on brain: lessons from human neuroimaging and biomarkers studies and animal models.”
