“Minding our Words: Communicating to Mitigate Negative Impact”

Co-sponsored by Becker Medical Library and the Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences

#SciCommThursdays features WashU faculty and staff, plus expert guests from the St. Louis community. Join us to hear valuable perspectives on crafting and disseminating stories about science for any audience, including grantors, scientists from other fields, the public, and the media. During our April conversation, we will discuss communication strategies that address bias, macroaggressions, lack of understanding and origins of colloquialism.

All members of the WashU community are welcome to attend!  Light refreshments will be served.
