This year the Summer Program of Imaging in Neuroscience (SPIN) Committee will host Dr. Joshua Shimony’s 4-part Lecture Series entitled, “Intro to MRI”.Please join us in the NIL Large Conference Room #2311 or via Zoom on Thursday, 6/30/22, at 1:00pm (Central Time) for the following hybrid lecture:Lecturer: Dr. Joshua Shimony, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine

This lecture series is beneficial to all new Students and Summer Students within the NIL-RC Labs, as well as those interested in a refresher course on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and may cover topics such as the components of an MRI Scanner, the mechanism for signal generation, T1 and T2 contrast, spin echo, as the lecture time slot allows.

Please note that the additional lectures in this Series will begin at 1:00pm (Central Time).
