“Nociceptors to Neural Networks: Mechanisms of Chronic Pelvic Pain”


Dr. Farmer is a Research Faculty Candidate for the Washington University Pain Center and the Department of Anesthesiology – Pain Psychology Position. Her clinical research focuses on female and male sexual function, chronic pelvic pain, and pelvic pain comorbidity using an interdisciplinary approach. As a clinical psychologist with training in sex therapy and chronic pain management, she also conducts brain imaging research to understand functional and structural brain changes that characterize chronic pain states.
