This presentation will provide an overview of adolescent brain development within the context of other domains of adolescent development. It will provide insights into how brain development impacts adolescent decision-making. The impact of trauma on the developing brain will also be discussed, along with strategies that professionals and supportive adults can use to promote resilience and healthy development for young people.
