Short bio: Breno S. Diniz, MD, PhD is a geriatric psychiatrist and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the UConn Center on Aging and Department of Psychiatry, UConn Health. His work is focused on understanding how serious mental illnesses can affect the biology of aging and how such information can inform the development of therapeutic targets for preventing age-related adverse health outcomes in this population. He has published over 160 papers in peer-reviewed journals and has an h-index of 63.
