The 20th Annual David Kipnis Lecture is hosted by the Department of Developmental Biology.

The 20th Annual David M. Kipnis Lecture will be held on April 26, 2017 at 4 pm in Connor Auditorium.  This university-wide lectureship is used to highlight individuals whose “work on basic questions related to the control of cell growth, differentiation, communication, and survival has important implications for understanding the origins of human diseases.”  This emphasis on the foundations of biomedicine reflects David Kipnis’ efforts during his 20 years as chairman to create opportunities for talented faculty in the School of Medicine and University to pursue the most fundamental questions in the biomedical sciences.
