Hosted by the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR)

Short bio: Matthew Glasser MD/PhD is an Instructor of Radiology at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Glasser is a Neuroradiologist-Neuroscientist whose research focuses on imaging-based neuroanatomy and brain imaging analysis methods development. He was a major contributor to the Human Connectome Project (HCP) from its inception and led the efforts to develop image analysis pipelines and to create a new multi-modal map of human cortical areas. Currently he is particularly enthusiastic about a new collaboration with the Allen brain institute as a part of the NIH’s Brain Initiative Cell Atlas Network (BICAN) that aims to map the cell types of human cortical areas.
