“Genetic Drivers of Resilience to Alzheimer Disease”
Hosted by the NeuroGenomics and Informatics (NGI) Center
Dr. Hohman, is an Associate Professor of Neurology, cognitive neuroscientist, and computational geneticist and the Biomarker Core Leader at the Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer’s Center Biomarker.
Dr. Hohman’s programmatic research focuses on understanding how certain individuals are able to accumulate Alzheimer’s disease neuropathology without showing clinical symptoms of the disease. He approaches these questions through genomic and proteomic analyses leveraging neuroimaging and neuropathology endophenotypes.
