“Stem Cell Therapy in Alzheimer’s Disease”

Hee Jin Kim, MD/PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine, South Korea. She is currently visiting Indiana University for collaboration with Dr. Liana Apostolova using the resources from the national Longitudinal Early-Onset AD Study (LEADS). She has been chosen for numerous awards including Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) Fellowship award. She has written multiple papers on subcortical vascular cognitive impairment and their longitudinal changes of cognition and use of PET imaging. She is currently involved with clinical trials to examine stem cell therapy in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
