December 11, 2020
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Zoom conference (Virtual)

“Racial disparities in environmental adversity and their impact on threat-related neural circuitry”

The Race, Equity, and Social Justice Journal Club is hosted by the Neuroscience PhD Program and the Office of Neuroscience Research (ONR) and coordinated by Makenzie Norris and Tania Lintz (grad students, Neuroscience PhD Program).

Neuroscience is not immune to issues of racism and bias, but neuroscientists can advocate for improved inclusivity and equity in science.  The Race, Equity, and Social Justice Journal Club (open to WashU students, faculty, and staff) will provide a platform for important insight and discussion on the intersection of neuroscience and society.

To learn additional information, suggest a topic/paper, or volunteer to present, please contact Makenzie Norris, Tania Lintz or the Office of Neuroscience Research (ONR).
